Similarly, the electrically-operated glass sunroof and champagne cooler that incorporated hand-blown and hand-cut lead crystal bottles marked a new benchmark in luxury and innovation.
It is this unique design, quality and attention to detail that have established Bentley as the world's most sought-after car brand. The firm continues to push the boundaries by utilizing the most advanced technology and craftsmanship, including the introduction of a digital instrument cluster with an electric tilt-opening back glass sunroof, an artisan-made docking station for Apple iPads, and electrochromic smart glass that can be changed between opaque and transparent by pressing the button.
Bentley celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2019 100 years after it was founded. Design
Bentley is known as a luxury car manufacturer that creates extravagant and luxurious cars. But even the keys are an oath. The Bentayga key is crafted from sterling silver. It features an oversized 'B' logo that lets everyone know you're driving a Bentley. It's also engraved with the years 1919 and 2019, to commemorate the company's centenary.
Bentley Mulliner has redesigned and created the Mulsanne to be the ultimate Grand Touring vehicle. The rear seats are designed to provide passengers with the most comfortable and private experience. They were inspired by the luxury private aircraft. A custom heating, ventilation and air conditioning system has been developed to ensure that every passenger has the ideal climate control setting.
In addition to a set of elegantly executed styling revisions, the Mulsanne is powered by a twin-turbocharged 6.75-litre W12 engine that produces 560bhp and 479lb ft of torque. This amazing power is coupled by a brand new suspension system that offers Bentley's signature quiet ride.
Bentley has introduced a special specification for cars built after 2019 to commemorate its centenary. This is referred to as the Centenary Specification. The cabin has cross-stitching, and contrast stitching in Centenary Gold throughout. The Bentley Wings are embroidered with Centenary Gold on the headrests and seats as well as other areas of the car. This adds to the celebration. The Centenary Specification also includes a bespoke Bentley keycase to complete the Bentley experience.

The knob can be used to fold or unfold the mirrors if you are parking in a tight area. This feature can help you get into and out of the car more easily.
Each key takes two days to make. It is cut by hand shape, sewn, sealed and polished to create an extremely high-end finish. It is robust compact and fits the Bentley key perfectly. Its design is similar to the Volkswagen Phaeton large car's key however, it feels heavier and has a luxurious feel.
Secure-A-Key is also available to prevent keyless entry theft. This device is inserted into the remote-control key fob. It disables it after a few minutes of inactivity, which prevents thieves from transmitting the key's frequency to other devices that can unlock and start the vehicle.
Bentley's unique design reflects the values of the company that include high-quality craftsmanship engineering expertise and cutting-edge technology. The headquarters in Crewe are home to more than 4,000 workers who are responsible for the development, design, and production of Bentley vehicles. These workers apply skills that have been passed through generations to the latest automotive technology. This is British manufacturing at its finest.
Personalisation
Bentley's Mulliner division allows customers to design their own car. The "mood station" lets guests pick images that inspire them. These can be anything from picturesque vistas to sporting events. After each selection is made, a pattern appears and reveals the models and colors of the customized Bentley.
The guests are given keys made by hand and containing the R.F.I.D. enabled key cards. The keys can also be outfitted with Bentley Muliner Personalised Welcome Lamps that light up the door's opening path with the owner's name, or emblem when they are approaching the vehicle.
Bentley says it takes roughly 500 man-hours to design and put together the typical Mulsanne. The refusal to embrace modern technology is the primary factor to this laborious task. Instead of using a machine to place the perfectly matched cross-stitched leather seats workers at the Crewe factory do it by hand. Drivers must park their cars manually, rather than relying on the built-in sensors to guide them into perpendicular and parallel spots.
The event also saw Bentley displayed its Mulliner personalization capabilities using a special example that was the Mulsanne W.O. Edition, which pays homage to founder William Osler Bentley. The limited edition cars are available in 100. a special key that displays an image of the 1930 8 Litre's crankshaft.
